AVVVS originated with the prime and sole purpose of service to humankind. Social responsibility is the motive behind all AVVVS operations. Rest everything takes a back seat when it comes to owning up social responsibility at AVVVS. The world of today is fast paced with cut throat competition everywhere. To keep up with the trend the population is trying to race against time and thereby deliberately forgetting certain basic principles of living in harmony with nature and follow natural ways to stay healthy which has eventually resulted in various lifestyle diseases and ill health. AVVVS stands for a healthy society and supports the people to fight various ailments naturally.

We believe in promoting Ayurveda through the pursuit of environmental sustainability. We find inspiration for doing so in nature and believe that it should be cherished and protected. We are equally committed to sustainable manufacturing of Ayurveda medicines and we never compromise in our commitment to ethical business practices. We always ensure the highest standards of quality control in the production of our Ayurveda medicines.

As part of our endeavor to promote wellness through Ayurveda, we strongly opine for herbal surplus villages and spread awareness about qualities and uses of various herbs and plants. AVVVS has initiated changes to turn a common village near Kakkur, Kozhikode into a herbal village with herbal gardens in every household and public spaces.

AVVVS also conducts seminars and awareness camps to educate the society on subjects like “enhancing immunity to protect yourself” and “wellness through Ayurveda”, “life style disorders & food habits”.

Our outreach programs are designed to serve a range of vital needs in the surrounding population. Being a company based on strong values, we excel in providing innovative solutions to improve human life. Our herbal products are a direct result of our research and production satisfying the basic principles of Ayurveda.

The advent of AVVVS into the field of healthcare coincided with a milestone in the political history of Malabar, the 1921 rebellion. When, Sree Narayana Guru, one of the greatest social reformers who laid the foundation stone of modern Kerala visited Kozhikode, Sree Neelakandan Vaidyar had the great fortune to meet him personally. It was on the Guru's advice, Sree Neelakandan Vaidyar decided to learn Ayurveda at the Arya Vaidya Patasala, Kottakkal. After passing out he envisioned utilizing Ayurveda for the benefit of the society and started AVVVS as a full fledged hospital with its own medicine manufacturing unit and branches in several important towns in Tamil Nadu. This was the start of fulfilling social responsibility by AVVVS and that has continued so far and will continue for sure given the social awareness, commitment and determination of the present management team.
